What are copyright, plagiarism, and fair use?
Copyright- The personal right to make copies and to control an original literary, musical, or artistic work, granted by the law for a specific number of years.
Plagiarism- When a writer copies another writer's language or ideas and calls the work his or her own.

In order to make sure you are not guilty of plagiarism, you will need to cite all the sources that you use to get any information from. Here are some resources to help you with citations:
Fair Use- A legal doctrine that states that portions of copyrighted materials may be used without permission of the copyright owner if the use is fair and reasonable, does not significantly impact the value of the materials, and does not effect the profits expected by the owner.
